Mystical Sunrise Eyes

I love the colours of sky during sunrise! So I tried to interpret them with eye makeup!!!

How did I do it?

Day makeup should always be subtle, hence I used Lakme Perfecting Liquid Foundation in Natural Coral.
I doubled up Ben Nye Matte Foundation in Chinois as Concealer.
I set everything with Ben Nye Beige Suede Visage Poudre.
For my eyes, I used Yellow and Brown tone shades from Lakme Eye Quartet (Peacock an Tanjore Rush)
I lined my eyes with Elle 18 Blackout Liner.
For Mascara, I used Maybelline The Hypercurl Volum Express Mascara.
I chose Maybelline Expert Wear Blush in Apricot Flush for a barely there glow for my cheeks!
Lastly I am not using any lip stick as such but just Nivea Fruity Shine Lip Balm in Pink Guava!!!
Happy morning to all of you!!!

Yours till the sun rises...

Finally, I got NAKED!!!

I have been yearning for the Urban Decay Naked Palette for donkeys years. After countless attempts of sourcing this gorgeous palette, I now own it!!!

For the past year, I have been begging everyone who has plans to travel abroad to get this for me! It somehow never worked out. I found out from a prominent make-up artist about a small store in Bandra called Beautiful. She asked me to try my luck there. And lo and behold, this gorgeous palette was sitting right underneath the glass counter. I bought it without second thoughts!

Along with the palette, I also got freebies in the form of the Good Karma Eye Shadow Brush and a small bottle of the famous Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potion (UDPP).

That's how it looks:

Urban Decay Naked Palette:

Contains 12 Shades, each prettier than the other with interesting names such as Virgin, Sin, Naked, Sidecar, Buck, Half Baked, Smog, Dark Horse, Toasted, Hustle, Creep and Gunmetal.

Urban Decay Primer Potion:

It comes in a mystical bottle. I love the shape of the bottle. It reminds me of something from the medieval times. This is my first ever primer potion and now that I own it, my life is complete. The eye shadow stays put. It doesn't crease and it doesn't fade away during the day!

Urban Decay Good Karma Brush:

It's a completely Vegan brush, which means it has no animal hair! Urban Decay prides in calling themselves cruelty free! And I pride myself in actually owning the NAKED Palette!

I am so in LOVE with this!!! It's like a dream come true!!!

I was so desperate to show this off hence I had no time to show guys any looks that you can create with this palette! So watch this space for more!!!

Yours till there are butterflies!

Love and Naked-ness,

S!

Green and Blue Rhinestone Eye Look

I always feel that we live in a concrete jungle... where green is vanishing. I decided to bring in some of my own. And club it with my favourite colour... Blue.

How Did I do it?

I used Ben Nye Chinois Matte Foundation used as an eye base.
Then put a wash of Green from Lakme Eye Quartet in Peacock.
Lined Outer V area with Blue from the same Eye Quartet.
Blended both colours with Basicare Eyeshadow Brush..
Then I put on a thin layer of Ben Nye Beige Suede Visage Poudre around the eyes.
Took out Rhinestones from the wheel and laid them flat on the table/workspace.
Made one stripe of lash glue over the eyeshadow.
and then stuck rhinestones using a wet cotton bud.
Then repeated process to cover the entire lid in rhinestones.
Here I have used lemony green rhinestones, green rhinestones and light blue rhinestones.
Then I stuck some false Eye Lashes from E-bay.
Blended real and false lashes with Maybelline The Hypercurl Volum Express Mascara.
Applied Gold High Light from Maybelline Eye Studio in Copper Brown.
And lastly applied Kajal and clicked a picture for you guys.

So will you give this look a chance???

Yours till there are waterfalls...
